Stiebel pump drives meet the highest requirements. From the selection of materials to the smallest technical detail, the pump drive is convincing by quality and performance. The shaft seals are made of viton and the gear hub profiles of chromium molybdenum steel.

To prevent pump shaft wear, we use oil lubricated profile hollow shafts. In order to reduce the thermal load on the torsional vibration dampers, our SAE engine connections - for virtually all diesel engines – are provided with appropriate ventilation openings.

Motor Connection

The SAE motor connections include ventilation openings for the reduction of thermal loads. The drive shaft profile is manufactured according to DIN 5480.

Pump Connection

Stiebel pump drives are mainly equipped with crewed pump flanges. All pump flanges can be custom made with specific drilling patterns to our customer specifications. Due to our special lubrication system, the tooth shafts are optimally lubricated. The gear hub profiles are made of tempered and nitrided chrome molybdenum steel.

Oil Circuit

Within the Stiebel pump drives a special lubrication system is integrated, which ensures the lubrication of all necessary components by means of special internal ribbing and oil pockets in the housing casts.

Toothing

The spur gears mounted in the pump drive are hardened and state of the art machined. The grounded tooth flanks of the spur gears generate running smoothness and low noise Levels.
